Spring Historical Arms & Armor features several high-profile collections. We are proud to present rare edged weapons from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries from The Collection of Russell Char.
This auction includes Part Two of the remarkable 19th century American firearms collection belonging to Southern Ohio collector and Korean War Veteran
Don Mitchell. A prominent part of the Mitchell collection was his love for Winchesters, Henrys, and 19th century American Firearms.
This section includes several great Winchester lever action rifles and a rare, historical, and well documented Colt Army 1860 revolver inscribed to Lt. Nelson of the 3rd TN Cav (Forrest). Rounding out Mitchell's collection is a highly desirable Henry engraved by Samuel J. Hoggson. This rifle is featured on page 40 of The Winchester Book written by George Madis.
